Waste Management Tote Rollout/Rollback Service to Begin Week of November 21, 2011

As a result of the Waste Management Service District for the Whalebead Beach area, Currituck County has entered into a contract with a third party provider to provide both a roll out and a roll back of the waste and/or recyclable totes.  This service will begin the week of November 21, 2011.  For the period of October through April, both the regular waste tote(s) and the recyclable tote(s) will be rolled out on Tuesday and rolled back to the house after trash removal on Wednesday.  For the prime summer season of May through September, the regular tote(s) will be rolled out on both Tuesday and Friday and rolled back to the house of Wednesday and Saturday after trash collection.  During the summer season, the recyclable tote(s) will be rolled out only on Friday and rolled back only on Saturday after recyclable trash collection.

No longer will the property owner and/or tenants need to roll the tote(s) out or back.  Your only responsibility  is to place the waste/recyclable contents into the tote(s) by noon on Tuesdays and/or Fridays.  You are encouraged to allow the third party contractor roll out and roll back the tote(s).
